1

Day 1

The first day of the adventure begins very early, at about 5:00 AM, tourists are picked up by the vehicle at their lodging places and then transported to the Mamey, the point where the tours to the Lost City begin.

In this rural village in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta they have breakfast and get ready for the motorcycle ride, which takes about 1 hour. The journey is an adventure by unpaved road until we reach the first camp (Vista Hermosa).

From the Vista Hermosa camp begins the hike to the Lost City Colombia, the indigenous guide leads the 5-hour hike through trails full of vegetation and nature until you reach the second camp (Wiwa Camp) where you will rest from trekking and enjoy a delicious lunch.

After the rest and hydration in this Wiwa indigenous camp, the group continues the ascent to the Lost City through the jungles of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta; this segment of the route takes approximately 5 hours to reach the third camp (Paso Lorenzo), during this journey travelers will find rivers, wildlife, jungle and native indigenous settlements of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.

The Paso Lorenzo camp is located only 1 hour away from the Lost City of Tayrona and here the tourists will take a well-deserved rest, then a delicious dinner to recharge energies lost during the day; once all the tourists have had dinner, the indigenous guide gathers them to tell them about the itinerary for the next day where they will discover the archaeological ruins of Teyuna (The Lost City of Colombia).

After the ancestral entrance protocol, the indigenous guide will talk about the cosmovision, culture and beliefs of the ancestors while they walk along the ancestral paths and stone terraces of this ancient civilization.
